She received her Master Craftsman Diploma in Germany, and has studied with artists such as Michael Umlauf, Marlies Moeller, and Martin Parson. Angelica Rivera, Stylist and Salon Founder
For Angelica, discovering the art of hair and makeup design opened a whole new world of possibilities. Born and raised in Chicago, she had always been drawn to creative pursuits. But while studying at PivotPoint Beauty School Chicago, Angelica had the epiphany that dedicating her ideas to hair and makeup was her true calling in life. Since then, she has built her experience in cuts, color, and vintage hairdressing, including providing hair and makeup for burlesque performers. She has studied at Schwarzkopf Academy in New York and has completed training with Vidal Sassoon. In 2002, she participated in the Las Vegas Hair World hair competition.
Angelica finds inspiration in everything from flowers, to new and old movies, as well as from her clients' features and personal style. She truly loves the experience of bringing joy to people by listening to them and making their wishes a reality.
